Inspirations from the world: Pantone for the Year 2023, Viva Magenta

Also this year Pantone chose the color of the year, that will be with us during the next months. The choice fell on a lively and vibrant color, Viva Magenta.

The Managing Director of the company Pantone Mrs Eiseman explains that the choice of this color is strictly linked to the nature and especially to the red color of cochineal, which is one the strongest and of the most precious natural colors. In a world which becomes more and more technological, we feel the need to go back to something primordial, so strictly connected to nature, just like Viva Magenta.

But how can we use it in our bathroom? We have to admit that it is a really strong color, which is opposite to the aim of bathroom, which is to create a place for relaxing. Actually even though such a strong color does not help us reach this purpose, anyway we can use it bathroom if we have some tricks. It’s enough to not use it as the dominant color, but just to decorate details with it. We can use it for example for wall paper, in order to give an extra touch of personality without making the whole ambience too heavy.
